MU Space

Who Are We

Mu is a Japanese word that means nothingness. Creativity comes from nothingness, and from nothing is where we begin to create.

Many would assume that creativity is a natural talent, but Mu Space strongly believes that anyone can be creative and that creativity is a skill that can be learnt. We aim to encourage students to explore versatile ideas and creativity.

Quite like a university, Mu Space teaches practical skills, albeit through Professional diploma and short courses. Our list of arts and design courses are still expanding, but we currently have Fashion Design and various crafting classes such as resin art, tambour hook and embroidery.

Guidance is also available for design students who are simply looking for more practice. For individuals looking to start their own brand, we provide a Fashion Mentorship Course.

Ranging from beginners to advanced levels, we follow the student’s pace. This creates a safe space for working adults who are keen to explore new skills with none of the pressure, and all of the fun!

To the more serious learners,we have the Professional Diploma course. We provide fulltime and part time for this course. This allows working adults to also study.

Beyond classes, we’re looking forward to cultivating Mu Space into a creative hub where people from diverse industries can share and work together. We’d love for you to give yourself a chance at any one of our creative classes, and be a part of our growing community of creatives!
